Returning to running after a long break

I decided to start running again after a few years off, but after just one week of training, I'm experiencing severe pain in my Achilles tendon. I don't know what to do — whether to continue or seek treatment.

Returning to running after a break takes patience. I started with short run-walk intervals and focused on consistency rather than speed. Sometimes changing the running environment helped me stay motivated. I once used a ride service to reach a nearby trail you can visit just as a reference.
